Unless the game says "Early Abandonment: The Game is Safe to Leave. No stats will be recorded," then leaving it will be a loss. Yes, it sucks. It's not Dotabuff that does it. It's Valve itself.

I really don't know why DotaBuff counts "Safe to Leave" abandons as defeats. I really don't care a lot about winrate, but it's hard to see that you're negative just because someone left a game and you don't want to play 4x5. There is some way to don't count abandons as losses?
