What is the problem in watching replays ingame?
You can always find a replay by using dotabuff, f.x. https://www.dotabuff.com/matches/7656996408
Go in game, press watch > replay > insert: 7656996408
If you can't download it, it is because its too old. They won't be stored for long, as they take up a lot of diskspace. But if you download your own, then you can rewatch them as long as you want. Else I think they expire after 1 week if you didn't download already.
