Die with honor in teamfights vs Objective gaming but get reported? in General Discussion

What do you usually decide to do based on your experience? Kindly share your thoughts. Thanks

If my team is actually being co-operative I will happily die in teamfight. If they are retards and I am getting tilted I just mute all and kill buildings

        entirely dependent on hero matchup

in general rat if u can get rax and fight with honor if u cant and the fights not literally 0 hope

I always run away in fear then I brag about only having 4 deaths away end of match.

it doesnt have to do anything with reports or honor or being kind or cooperative with ur teammates, unless u make it so.

what my thought process is. is "is this an advantageous fight?" "does it result in an objective? or is it just some random fight when i can take their tower when they're fighting?" "am i strong enough to fight?" and so on

literally the last match i played minutes ago this fight or push thing happened more than 5-7 times.

my timber called me trash or whatever he called me and said he doesnt even know how to play pl, it's embarrasing. i typed smiley face and muted him and kept doing the right thing without concerning myself with shit like getting reported or flamed. and won

depends on the hero you play. I’am a lycan spammer, its a big space for me when there is a team fight... after taken down towers i can ult and join from the back line or chase heroes with low health. if my team lose the fight, we got towers so its not a big lose in terms of economy.

if im playing jugg (my next spam hero) of course ill join. my ward help my team to sustain, since my first skill is invulnerable to magic damage, i will focus those magic heroes type eg. enemy supports, plus i can kill them instantly from omnislash if not going to spread apart.

certain heroes are not advisable to join early teamfights like spec, am, luna they are very squeesy and immediately lock down. if dont rarely join early game team fight, unless i already equipment my basic items with raindrops, good wand charges and my ulti is available.

I always encourage rat players to play their game - if enemy is stronger and we can lose game by lost teamfight in base, why not to change it by forcing few enemies back. Of course, if there is our last rax and enemy can end directly while somebody is pushing T2, it is stupid. But in case we have all T3s and we can somehow defend (kill creeps (wind, BM, jakiro, tinker etc), why not to force enemy back and maybe kill some of them in retreat?

                Depends on many factors
                - Can you push at the similar rate as enemy team (jugg/AM/lycan or OD, Ursa,PA)?
                - Are you threathening their base (or T1/T2)?
                - Are we able to defend somehow efficiently without losing the game (e.g. prolonging the siege by killing all creeps, having disables, enemy not able to make megas/take ancient)?
                - Do we have buybacks to recover if needed?
                - Can we lose game by having 5X5 in our base?

You gotta decide whether joining the fight (and dying) is going to result in either a) losing your buildings/rax b) preventing the enemy from taking your buildings/rax c) allowing your team to take enemy buildings/rax.

Join the fight and die for b) and c), go solo push or take rosh for a). If your team is taking a fight that they definitely can't win, i'd go solo push unless you can either save your core who doesn't have buyback from dying or kill an enemy core who doesn't have buyback.

We just released an updated hero and facet statistics page featuring more data and advanced filters. Oh, and it supports Turbo!
