depends on the situation , if the game is one sided go for a aether lens . if the team need help with initiation get blink
You dont need it on either of these heroes. Aether lens handy if You want to not commit too Much. Regen doesnt matter. I think it Is a really bad item on lion and a decent one on nyx.
Its really good on heroes That want to stay away from their ennemies like Zeus (or drow with dragon lance). It isnt an issue for nyx and it isnt That much of an issue for lion.
I only build on core because i think That its way too expensive for a support, it gives no utility. Sometimes its good in ultra late.
You don't need blink on Lion, but it's very nice.
And building aghs first or even a day-genn works depending on the game.
Then ForceStaff/Blink. Usually both us ideal for that aghs.
the extra range is quite helpful on those heroes, not to mention the spell damage increase is equivalent to that of 80 intelligence.

Blink since u can initiate. Other supports without need for blink usually get wether. Except ogre. Ogre can get aethsr
the only good thing about lens comparing to blink early on support heroes is that you don't need to save up 2250 gold and not dying
blink is better for initiation for lion and also serve as escape if you can avoid damage for short brief
i think that aether lens is great on offlane nyx thou but i don't know about its timing (before blink/agha or whatever)
