there are a lot of friendly people on dotabuff, just add some people you think are nice, and some of them will play with you no matter the skill level

I'm kinda new to dota, been playing since just before TI4 with a 3 month break at start of the year. I'm not a good player by any means but I am getting a little better as time goes on which I'm happy with! Small improvements are always encouraging :)
The biggest problem I've found is finding people to play with, who are around my skill level that also want to learn and improve. I don't like people who discriminate e.g. say homophobic/racist etc things so I'd prefer people who aren't like that. I'd prefer other girls to play with since i've mostly played with guys but it's not that big of an issue for me.
