Do you guys still bother to say “glhf” and “ggwp” before and after games?
People usually only say glhf if I say it first, and i more commonly see them spamming voice lines or some shit
Then, end of game, win or lose, I try not to forget to say ggwp. If I won, it’s met with “lul noob you got carried”, “lucky our teammate X is bad” or some dumb crap, if I lose it’s all “ez game”

Let’s be clear, I’m not “holier-than-thou”, I get heated and tilted, and also trashtalk a bit(though I usually keep in my trashtalk and let it out on my alt account). Just wanted to get an insight on whether you guys still care for these basically meaningless words of “courtesy” or “gaming etiquette”

lucky our teammate X is bad

Lots of people get offended by "ggwp" if they consider that they did decently but their teammates were trash.
Seems like most players believe they should be winning 75%+ of their games despite being stuck at the same MMR for years.

The word "ggwp' in Dota has changed meaning from time to time, and today most people use it as their way to mock or sarcasm towards their own fucking team.

When you make even 1 fucking mistake in the game they will say "well played" or "ggwp" to mock you, and some people can get really get irritated from this and affect their gameplay.

I personally hate person like that, yes back in 2018-2019 I was toxic like them too, I often mock them by saying that chat wheel too, but right now I realized that "Why would I do that to my own team, If he lose focus that can be bad for me too"

Most people do this because they can't control their anger, or just trolling like what Kowareta did.

Say nothing ,what is point of saying GL HF to your enemy. Do you really want your enemy win???????just say nothing.GG WP is enough .

^I agree, fake courtesy. I do say "gg" when I'm in a good mood, those 2-3 times a year, and/or the game was fun despite the outcome. Spamming bullshit at the beginning of games is a must though ah.

Uh I will always say gg, ggwp or gg ez at the end of a game dependent on which is most applicable and how annoyed I am, though I wont normally say glhf. I also sometimes make small talk with the enemy team especially if the match is paused, though usually I just look for ways to tilt them lol

                    simple

It's SEA courtesy to end the game with "ez games" or "nice throw ,noob ..." and a "quit dota join league" as a finale. I have 10k behaviour score btw. Saying this will garner a few commendations from your team every time.

                        ^
Nah dude, since we're SEA, it should be "go use your phone and play Mobile Legends"
