      1) Plan your movements based on game timer. As a p5 player that's the most important thing.
      2) Make sure every time you are moving across map(rotating, going base, etc), you should be able to stack at least 1 camp.
      3) Protecting your core takes priority over your life. Run into enemies, body block enemies, do anything to get them to hit you, if it means your core can escape.
      4) Prioritize vision over anything. Supports can walk with brown boots+ wand at 20 mins and no one will flame you, if you kept the map warded.(except for shitty cores, which you can mute)

just pick stuns and you will win. Stop picking garbage like rubick, silencer, bounty hunter, pudge and other weak laners. Your job is the carry the core out of laning phase so they can carry you during the mid game not the other way around. Don't give example of what immortals or pros are doing cuz you dont have those people in your game. from archon to ancient even early divine the team that wins the laning phase and has disables will always win. To counter it they would have to buy bkb and other defensive items but if you group up as 5 and you have disables after disables they cant do anything and you would have ended the game running down a lane before they have bkb.

In general look at favor match ups and unfavor. If mid has a favor match up you have more space to do things like stack and pull. If they have unfavor match up it is typically a good idea to sit in the tree around the enemy power spike. Example would be sniper vs qop. At lvl 6 qop will look to blink in dagger scream ult. If you sit in the tree when qop blink in suddenly qop dies and ur mid sniper would be lvl 7 or 8 by the time qop goes back to lane still lvl 6.

In general the game plan is to trade all ur mana and hp for the offlaner's reg and mana. Then at 2 mins stack pull, at 5 mins get rune, at 7-8 min def mid. After 10 mins you should look to pile into the offlane.
The general idea is to send as many people in the offlane as possible so the focus will go to the offlane and ur carry is left uncontested to jungle and take lane creeps. The enemy can either also send alot of people to their safe lane and try to fight you but this is not good for them and will most likely lead to a losing battle. This is what you want to happen. A good team will usually also send all their people to you safe lane. At this point ur carry retreat to the jungle and both team trades the safe lane tower. From there you enter mid game and the rule is usually stick around mid while farming triangles. After 20 mins it is generally a good idea to smoke not just to gank but to plant deep wards so that the next smoke will be more productive. Most pub games have a clear winner by this point. The further you go down the line the more random it gets and generally you do not want games to go longer than 40 mins as it is really an rng shitfest with almost 0 skill involved.

My cores always ask me to just leave and let them solo XP.

                I hate my life... T_T

                Kowareta

They are not smart/ass hole enough.
I would probably ask u to abandon for extra gold too

                  Soultrap

This is an idea. There must be some built-in reward in DOTA 2 for supports who do this "ultimate sacrifice".

                    Kowareta

Rewards?!! Nobody asked you to play support, u can fuck off already.

                      Soultrap

No, actually developers ask people to play supports, they made a whole new system just for that.

                        Kowareta

really? they ask ppl to queue all roles!!! u cant even get tokens with queue just 5 or even both 4 and 5. they wont even put u in fast queue if u only queue 5! you are really stupid if u think its because "they want you to play support".

im actually getting triggered when i get other roles than 5, cause its going to get ruined by a donkey like u who hates his life cause of "<20% of his dota experience" oh no i "might" play pos 5, 1 in 5 games. oh no i should play another ogre 25 min fitst item midas. oh no i hate my life.

                          NineO_OSix

Hate to admit it have to agree with kowareta. You are not some saint cuz you are in the support role. No one ask you to play 4 or 5. In fact most cases you dont even support picking some rubick silencer pudge non sense. Saying oh i warded when it is free. Literally griefing all game and trying to act like you are doing the rest of us a favor. You are not fooling anyone. It very clear who plays support consistently and who is there for some fast qs

                            Kowareta

Hate to admit it have to agree with kowareta.

                              oh nonono
u should be more concerned about your pos 1 on offlane gameplay after million years playing this game, u are not even in place to talk shit to archons.

imagine posting on dota related forum, and u play carry heroes on offlane :axe_laugh: :axe_laugh:
                              what a fucking idiot

                              Kowareta

i think even my herald V friend knows how drafting in dota works, braindead ape

                                Soultrap

You guys are too toxic to qualify as decent supports, so stop talking like you know me or how I play.

                                  Kowareta

Support is not cheerleader buddy. U got the wrong idea

                                    tiny-airlines

Pick meepo pos 5 > get ultimate for more meepos > put 1 meepo on each cliff for free wards. Thank me later.

Support is not a depressive psycho as well.

                                        Kowareta

I didnt claimed u shoud be a depressive psycho to be a good support. U start claiming buddy, are you ok?

                                          Soultrap

Well... my brain is under attack by a forum troll, but other than that I'm ok.

                                            Kowareta

Dont worry about your brain, there is nothing valuable there to get hurt.
But you have a good heart, good enough to cheering team up with your supporting role. :axe_laugh:
