                Mango can be really good when opponent is ranged or has a long range spell to cancel a clarity. When you use a clarity, your opponent can take a more aggressive stance in lane so you have to choose to miss some easy cs by standing back, or letting them cancel it so you can farm. This is especially important in mid matchups.

                      it had 5 couriers because it started off as a 1v1 bot with a courier. so it was easier to just continue on the same track as if they were all semi autonomous with their own couriers. they are working their way towards real dota and did that in the last games in Ti which they lost... but im assuming won't next year.
