appearently my average is 300ish
record 470
not sure if its a good thing to have a high apm
https://www.opendota.com/players/319549325/histograms/actions_per_min
i think it counts movement and direction changes of the mouse cursor, too. cant imagine how i else i do almost 8 actions per second in a 30 minutes game.
it goes significantly down the longer a game lasts, and the less comfortable i am on the hero it seems
80+ seems perfectly fine to me as long as all of your actions are on point
Average 360, record 481.
But yeah, it's not like APM decides how well you do, it mostly tells about your playstyle.
@avonkrad
looked into your stats a little
you have HUGE consistant apm in any bristleback game - smashing QW i guess
other than that, your high apm games are super short, just like my records
i seems like apm is generally higher in the early game, and on bb LUL
dont you just press W when its off cd?
also i think because i edge pan for camera and only just recently starting to use middle mouse button, i'm assuming my apm will go up alot just moving my camera
im not a bristle player. but when i do, i smack those buttons like crazy
i use edge scolling all the time
My bristle games have only like a 10% higher APM compared to my other games, unless I'm dead a lot or I'm super shut down in a game. For example https://www.opendota.com/matches/3948277817/actions
My lower APM games originates back to when I was playing in a crappy notebook a few years back, you can clearly see the "break point" https://www.opendota.com/players/135711847/histograms/actions_per_min
Record is 541 on invoker
Also the I get most consistently. Don't really know what that means if it's useful on him or not
guys a high apm indicates that you are aware of what is going on elsewhere on the map: click mini map to watch what is going on, checking your teammates inventory and also your enemies inventory. i also think that any core will have higher apm because of animation cancel for lh/deny.
when miracle- plays terrioblade he has around 300 apm, constantly checking what items other players have and microing his illusions around. when he plays ember his apm is around 220
350
mainly because im lazy and use autorepeat right click which inflates it heavily
without it it would be 180-200
having high apm means u are spamclicking ground
I barely hit 200 on Starcraft(granted I’m more casual there), but my average is already close to 150-160 in dota
@inx4C I didn't even know that that was a feature, I just added it for a toggle, it'll be good for stealling runes/creep blocking i think :)
For those that want it
BindToggle "K" "dota_player_auto_repeat_right_mouse"
change the letter in brackets to whatever you want
Auto right click makes u shittier in terms of precision but saves ur tendons
bro you play whackamole actively
80-120
I can do 400 apm with tinker but sadly my stamina is low. More than 150 my hand will be numb

Just curious, mine seems quite low
144 Average - 210 on invoker, haven't checked others
