Focus on heroes and positions that you're good at. Based on your profile, you got good stats with jugg as a carry and omni as a support. You might want to capitalize on these heroes.

Aside from that, map awareness is one key towards getting better. You should always be mindful of what happens in the map (eg. where are enemy supports, where they place their wards, etc) and try to help your teammates when possible.

And yea bkb cant be shared lol.

stop worrying about what your team is doing, your mechanics are likely trash, you should be able to get to 4.5k or 5k mmr without playing too much with your team and just being more mechanically talented and making good individual decisions. if you plan on climbing out then mid is your best bet spamming, clinkz, storm, lina, huskar, literally anything that can snowball you from a free laning stage if youre better than the enemy mid, and if youre not at archon then you need to work a lot on your laning mechanics.

        chicken spook,,,,

stop worrying about what your team is doing

pretty true but ive won games by telling people what to do/get but getting the basics and mechanics down by spamming works

Use your watch tab, find a high level player playing a hero/role you enjoy and look at his perspective. Look for why he is skilling in a certain way, why they are buying certain items in a certain order, why he is moving in a certain way and how he is playing the role. You can look at thier mistakes and triumph's and learn from it.
it is much much more efficient to learn from other people making the mistakes or doing the research for you.

If your carries has 3/10/2,yep it is.

guys i know all the points u mentioned! im pretty sure that if i go mid or carry on last pick and have a good pick against them i can win 70% or better independent of my teammates but i dont know wtf is going on!!! i played 3 rank games and in all of them carry and mid picked first and second !!! i just dont know what to do!what can i do when a person with 5k match who always play core and still has 2k picking sth like zeus on pick 1? not even an strong core! i think thats cause of my bc score :( and i played a lot normal games to improve it but seems not enough! my last game was amazing! i picked pos 4 and my beloved lc "carry" who the most damage he will do is bm ":/" leave the free lane against pudge on min 2 and going to jungling :))))) wtf really how this is possible!

i dont know really how to pick core and dont lose draft im sure if i first pick carry im fine but 90% someone else will do that! and if i pick sup yes i can win the early game! but they dont know how to itemize! they will going deso on sf against 5 stun not bkb! and after 50 min game i will lose cause my carry dont know shit and their carry bought bkb and ezly wipe my ass in team fights with that !

                  sisyphus

just first pick offlane every game, people won't fight over it that much

                    axe/underlord/bm/pango/doom, there's your hero pool

if you really wanna play carry/mid at this mmr then either deal with the fact that you have to pick early or find friends who'll let you carry them :d

                    SASA POPOVIC

You are playing pos5 on low MMR wrong, this guy gets it!

Also dont listen to the guy above me, Pango is out of the meta with his phenomenal 43% winrate and Doom is very situational offlaner after the nerfs he got.

                      Melt

i pretty much got myself out of that 2k "firstpick secures mid" bullshit by spamming legion commander, turning the enemy safelane into not-so-safe lane even 1v3 because those fools will stand next to each other in creepwaves and legion has her Q. once i got blink i go kill the other lanes and take towers with team while enemy trash carry tries to recover from his 5 lasthits in 10 minutes lane.
oh and once you pick lc, the enemy team will pick 5 counters just for you and leave your remaining team uncountered. just btw. poor fools. shame you cant rely on your team to make use of that

things started to get better around 3.2k

not sure how doom is considered 'very situational', the nerfs have no impact to how he is played

sk is a tier 1 pro pick and has a 45% winrate across the board

the low winrate of pango is only because people can't play him well, just like wisp

                          SASA POPOVIC

PAngolier has very high skill cap and for what he offers its not worth learning, 3 heroes shit on him hard some of them got serious buffs and they are pick heavliy in pubs especialy in low skill bracket ults from Bane Bloodsyka and pudge all go though pangos ball. Dooms movement speed is gimped so his early kill potential is crippled by this and that hero needs to snowball on lane to have strong presence. Popular low bracket heroes that shit on Doom are Ursa CK PL supports that have tons of disables like Shaman and Lion can zone you out easy and you will die in hex + stun combo unless you find that satyr. So do you feel lucky?

                            sisyphus

bloodseeker is the only one that really disrupts pango in a big fight, and there are ways to play around that

a lot of what you say is irrelevant because no one does trilanes any more

the heroes i suggested can be first picked and still remain relevant at all stages of the game

                              Subaru

it is about draft as supp bruh, as i see the lower mmr can't even draft pick a carry, so it is your job to last pick an appropriate support, even doom work as supp using skill 3 spam to tilt enemy carry and skill 2 to survive, so yea it is about flexibility in your support, the more flexible your support(the on who steadilty hold the game at 40 mins if the game goes bad)the more likely you improve.

Dear op, I've been there when jungle was a thing, try improve your mechanic and first pick mid if you are confident you can 1v9, but if not try spam offlane, axe, lc anything you like just draft what you like, dota is a game not a contest, it's still a 50:50 game as EE always say, good luck on climbing.

                                    Sincerely, trash legend player
