I always feel like if I skip gush I’m cursed to regret it later. I skill smash when i can and maybe forego a point in kraken shell if I don’t need it
get it when you actually need it. dont skip ravage. people skip RP sometimes because it barely does any damage but ravage does decent damage so it's nice.
RP is pretty hard to land well without blink, but it's pretty hard to miss with ravage. Kraken shell levels aren't that important past the very early laning stages and you can delay it a bit for gush, really depends who you're laning against.
Never skip ravage, it's a great stun and can be spammed without Blink.
I skip Gush when I had a bad lane and need that Anchor Smash to farm neutrals faster.

i saw a single dotabuff guide where a tide skipped ravage
also i see a lot of variation in where people take a gush level, i took it lvl 1 for fb and felt fine
but i also see it all the way at lvl 8 or super early like lvl 3-4
