Item dependent ? Teamwipe with just a force staff? More like level dependent. In patches of old OD could be plyed in safelane.
But I don't see why he is bad mid as u say. Maybe u just play bad on the hero mid. But I'm not an od player so

od can solo deal with most offlaners
i play od safelane a lot, just get midas.
that is what i was thinking about. But honestly, too many heros just shit on him mid this patch (e.g. sniper, arc warden)

It feels rlly hard to come back as od
Also I've gotten Ultras on od with just Pike, he isn't super item dependent, he basically only requires bkb, and hex at some point in the late game
i play OD a lot, my best mid hero.
he is just so vulnerable to ganks, utilize the 2nd skill. Be careful using it when getting cs cause all these enemy supports are just waiting for it's cd and they will go in.

Guys, i am puzzled over my findings but seems like OD is not a good mid hero anymore and most of enemies harass him out easily while he is very item dependent. But then can i run OD safelane perhaps?
